Many Peoples, One Land: A Guide to New Multicultural Literature for Children and Young Adults
 Alethea K. Helbig and Agnes Regan Perkins, Greenwood Press (2000)

Although copyrighted in 2001, this is still an excellent collection development tool for librarians . The book would also serve well as a reader advisory and an enhancement to school curricula that emphasize diversity and multiculturalism. 

Multicultural Literature and Response: Affirming Diverse Voices

Multicultural Perspectives

The official journal of the National Association for Multicultural Education, includes a column, “A Guide to New Resources” that periodically includes a discussion of materials for students, including films, videotapes, and books.
